The Forethought EOS Journey

The Forethought EOS 90-minute call happened on September 2021, then Vision Building One in October 2021 and Vision Building Two in November 2021. As we approach our two-year anniversary of implementing EOS and we reflect on our completed ROCKs and what we have learned. What comes to mind is “I wish I would have done this sooner”!

EOS, or Entrepreneurial Operating System, is a comprehensive set of concepts and practical tools designed to help entrepreneurs and businesses achieve their goals. EOS helps businesses clarify their vision and communicate it effectively to the entire organization, ensuring everyone is aligned and working toward the same goals. At Forethought, we quickly “got it”, the concepts instantly clicked, we just needed some time to try things on for size and adjust.

Forethought looks a little different two years after having implemented EOS. The team grew from six to twelve, the office is much more welcoming to guests, accounts receivable are less than 30 days, we have processes and procedures for the many internal office operations, and we are close to doubling revenue from 2022 to 2023! These milestones are important for the success of the business. But what is even better, is how EOS has made us feel. While the Forethought team has always been productive and efficient, with EOS implementation, we are able to move ROCKs, and now have a tremendous sense of accomplishment, and that is truly priceless.
